Bethlehem
city in the State of Palestine
Bethlehem is a Palestinian city in the West Bank/Judaeo-Samaria and Gaza. It is most famous as the place where Jesus was born (See Gospel of Matthew 2). It is five miles from Jerusalem and has been under Israel since 1967.
