R. Stephen Berry

professor of physical chemistry (1931–2020)

R. Stephen Berry (April 9, 1931 – July 26, 2020) was an American professor of physical chemistry.[1] He was the James Franck Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus at The University of Chicago. He was also Special Advisor for National Security to the Director, at Argonne National Laboratory.[2] He was born in Denver, Colorado.

He died on July 26, 2020 in Chicago at the age of 89.[3]
