This citation template produces formatted references to the Parliament of Australia's "Senators and Members" biographical database, which contains information on members of parliament, including former members.

Usage

Copy a blank version to use. Almost all parameter names are supported only in lower case (some initialisms, such as |isbn= have upper-case aliases like |ISBN=, which are acceptable for use). Use the "|" (pipe) character between each parameter. Unused parameters may be deleted to avoid clutter in the edit window. Some samples on this documentation page may include the current date. If the date is not current, then purge the page.

Required parameters:

mpid: "Member id", corresponds to the last parameter found in the URL of the database entry. https://www.aph.gov.au/Senators_and_Members/Parliamentarian?MPID=#### For example, for the entry on Natasha Stott Despoja, the "mpid" is 316.

To find the member ID, try using the members name in this Google search

name: The name of the member. Consider using the form given in the relevant database entry.

Optional parameters:

access-date: The date when the entry was accessed.
