"I Fought the Law" is a 1960 song by The Crickets. It was taken from their album In Style With the Crickets. It was made popular by two other artists. One was the Bobby Fuller Four, where it made number 9 in Canada and number 11 in the United States. The other was The Clash where it charted in New Zealand at number 17 in 1988.
