Edward Osborne Wilson (* 10. jún 1929, Birmingham, Alabama, USA – † 26. december 2021, Burlington, Massachusetts, USA) bol americký prírodovedec, biológ a entomológ.

Bol zakladateľom sociobiológie. Pôsobil ako emeritný profesor na Harvard University. Foundation for the Future mu v roku 2000 udelila prvú Kistlerovú cenu - The Kistler Prize. Táto cena mu bola udelená za originálnu prácu pri výskume sociálnych implikácií genetiky. Je tiež držiteľom Pulitzerovej ceny.
