Hyperborea (Cybertron)

The Hyperborea is one of the four ancient starships sent off from Cybertron to explore the galaxy and create a massive space bridge network. Its crew eventually landed on the world that became known as the Jungle Planet.

Fiction

The Hyperborea was buried beneath the surface of Jungle Planet where Scourge's temple would eventually be built. When Galvatron commanded the black hole to cause chaos on the Jungle Planet, Optimus Prime sent the Ogygia to evacuate the citizens. The chaotic atmosphere created by the black hole collapsed the boarding ramp stranding Scourge, Snarl and Backstop on their doomed homeworld. Scourge's bravery in the face of seeming death however somehow reawakened the Hyperborea from its slumber and allowed the trio to escape. Reuniting with its sister ships on approach to Cybertron, Scourge gave a passionate speech where he swore to stop Galvatron, a speech that convinced Primus that the time of unification had come. The god then merged all four starships into the legendary Ark. Homecoming
Once peace had been brought to Cybertron and Earth, the Hyperborea and the other three ancient ships were sent out into the galaxy once again to start a new space bridge network. Amongst its crew were Evac, Backstop, and Lugnutz. Beginning
Ask Vector Prime
After the war, Backstop was one of the crew of the Hyperborea. He convinced his fellow Autobots to establish a space bridge outpost near Klo, the planet where his old master Bludgeon resided, and they had a joyful reunion. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/29
