Human female shapes are conquered territory to Transformers, but getting the hang of lions and manes remains a difficulty.

Lyzack (ライザック Raizakku, also Lyzak or Lizack) is the younger twin sister of the Decepticon Breastforce member Leozack. Though they're from the same assembly line, Lyzack was not built as a warrior, unlike her brother. Instead, Lyzack was designed to serve at home. This troubles Lyzack, who longs to be as skilled as her brother in battle, and so the female Decepticon withdraws from those around her. Her meekness is misleading, however; given a sword, she can be surprisingly deadly.

She transforms into a high-tech jet fighter, the same as her brother.[1]

Her hat is adorable.

Defeated at the end of the long conflict, the Decepticons begged the Autobots not to destroy their Giant Fortress Base. Because the Autobots were little convinced by that alone, Deathsaurus opened a door to the top of the fortress, revealing a large crowd of Decepticon civilians. Among them was Lizack, who quickly made her way to her injured brother's side. With that display of affection to illustrate the Decepticons' claim they only sought to protect their families, peace was soon made between the two factions. The Grand Victory War

"Join the army," he said. "You'll find your brother," he said. Well, you'll have to be fast if you want this here booze.

Lyzack and Leozack spent their earliest years around Carburisia and near the Furnace as an inseparable pair. When Leozack left their homestead to join the growing Decepticon movement, Lyzack was confident her ferocious brother could never be defeated. She was forced to recalculate her beliefs when word reached her that Leozack had been captured. As Lyzack fell into despair, the powerful Deathsaurus approached her, offering her an opportunity to find and rescue her brother. Unfortunately, working for Deathsaurus meant mostly being reduced to his servant, a task in which she never faltered, despite her growing suspicions that Deathsaurus was merely using her. Following the destruction of the Elite Guard at the hands of the Combaticons, Starscream asked Lyzack, under order of Deathsaurus, to prepare the medibay for their arrival. When Lyzack answered curtly and professionally, Starscream mocked her for being so formal. He assured her that some day she would grow out of her "timid" shell. After Starscream left, she glowered, as she felt insulted by his appraisal of her. She had a sword, after all! Battle Lines, Part 1

As Deathsaurus and his troops defended their base against an Elite Guard attack, Lyzack joined them. Announcing that her brother's sword craved death, she attacked Flak. Battle Lines, Part 3 After Deathsaurus was blasted by Magnum, Lyzack came to her lord's aid by laying into the Elite Guard officer with her sword. She managed to do a substantial amount of damage to him, but as she prepared to stab him through the chest, she was sent flying by a punch from Thunderclash. Battle Lines, Part 4 After Deathsaurus was beaten by Megatron in single combat, it was Lyzack alone who remained loyal to him. She helped him as he told her that they must flee the planet. Fun Publications is really keen on making their limited-to-one-per-person exclusives represent two separate characters.
  • Wings of Honor (BotCon attendee figure, 2009)
  • Accessories: Energon sword, energon rifle, 2 missiles
Lyzack was repurposed from BotCon 2009 Leozack.
A redeco of Energon Starscream, Leozack transforms into a jet fighter loosely based upon the F/A-22 Raptor, cast mostly in bright cyan plastics, with white and blue painted on top. She comes with two very large accessories, a sword and a non-firing blaster, which can combine to form a really larger sword and/or non-firing blaster. In jet mode she has two wing-mounted spring-loaded missile launchers, which can flip up over her robot mode shoulders for "Hyper Mode".
She was the "attendance freebie" at BotCon 2009, given away one per attending pre-registrant. Additionally, two were given away per purchase of the BotCon 2005 "Descent into Evil" box set. This offer was so popular that Fun Publications sold out of all of the "Descent into Evil" sets they had on-hand.
This mold was also used to make Energon Energon Starscream and BotCon 2009 Skyquake.

Notes

  • In case it's not particularly clear, the Ly- portion of Lyzack's name comes from the li- portion of "lion", which is represented as raion (ライオン) in Japanese text. With this, her name acts as a counterpart to "Leozack", whose name is based on the Latin word for the animal. The Viz translation of the Victory manga spells it "Lizack" to hew closer to this intent.
  • Lyzack was slated to have a spotlight prose story around the time of Battle Lines, but it wasn't finished in time. Among other things, it would've depicted her retrieving her brother's sword, as described in her Timelines profile. In 2021, the prose story's author shared the original draft.
  • Lyzack's Timelines profile labels her alternate mode a "female Fury-Flier". Leozack's profile labels his alternate mode a "hi-tech jet fighter". Since Leozack's alternate mode label seems to be a common noun, it stands to reason he also transforms into a "Fury-Flier". Probably not a female one, though.
