Nursery (Cybertron)

Autobots have the worst day spas ever.

The Nursery is a facility on Cybertron where the Autobots keep those who are considered a danger to themselves or others, thanks to an adverse reaction to Nucleon.

Around fifteen years after the battle at Klo, Grimlock and the Dinobots went to visit their buddy Slag at the Nursery, where he was being held in restraints due to having been reduced to a primeval, savage mental state by the Nucleon. Admitting culpability for Slag's condition as well as that of Silverbolt, Blaster, Huffer and Inferno, Grimlock swore that whatever it took, he would find a cure. Natural Selection, Part One Returning to Cybertron five years later with technology acquired from the resurrected Decepticon leader Scorponok, Grimlock made for the Nursery but was apprehended and incarcerated by Hot Rod's Autobots. With Grimlock apparently in collusion with Scorponok and being pursued by Decepticons and Gene Key-modified Autobots alike across surface stratum zero, the Dinobots decided to put their house in order and forced a confrontation with their former leader by attacking the Nursery. Taking out Treadshot to maintain secrecy, Grimlock headed there alone to try and explain matters, but the Dinobots weren't listening and attacked him. When their battle was interrupted by Dreadwind, Darkwing and the former Autobot Headmasters, Grimlock took out the containment field holding Inferno and his out-of-control internal combustion incapacitated Scorponok's troops, leaving the Dinobots to reunite with Grimlock and the surviving Autobot resistance. With Scorponok defeated, all those held in the Nursery were given new Nucleon-free bodies and transferred to the Garage for testing. Destiny, Part Two
