Great Hyrule Forest
Overview
The Great Hyrule Forest, also known as the Woodland Region, is located in the northcentral area of Hyrule. It is marked by the mysterious shrouded Korok Forest located on a large island whose entrance is guarded by the Lost Woods. It is here that the Great Deku Tree watches over the Master Sword along with his Korok children include Hestu.
This region has fewer monsters including: Moblins, Lizalfos, and Bokoblins who camp in areas outside the forest itself.
Great Hyrule Forest Shrines and Shrine Quests
The Great Hyrule Forest Region has a total of eight Shrines. Four of the Great Hyrule Forest Shrines are hidden until their Shrine Quest is completed.

- Ketoh Wawai Shrine - Shrine Quest - Shrouded Shrine
- Kuhn Sidajj Shrine - Shrine Quest - Trial of Second Sight
- Maag Halan Shrine - Shrine Quest - The Test of Wood
- Mirro Shaz Shrine
- Monya Toma Shrine
- Rona Kachta Shrine
Side Quests
The following Side Quests begin in the Great Hyrule Forest Region.

- The Korok Trials @ Korok Forest
- Riddles of Hyrule @ Korok Forest
- Legendary Rabbit Trial @ Korok Forest
- Leviathan Bones @ Serenne Stable
Towns and Settlements
In the following locations are characters who can activate Shrine Quests or Side Quests or assist with Main Quests (ie. Captured Memories):
- Korok Forest - 4 Side Quest and 3 Shrine Quests
- Serenne Stable - 1 Main Quest and 1 Side Quest
- Woodland Stable - 1 Main Quest and 1 Side Quest
Points of Interest
The following areas, while not towns or settlements, are large enough areas that should warrant exploring for the adventurous type and are often related to Shrines or other interesting places.
