- Marc Deville is a successful writer of erotic literature and he is a porn addict. He functions very well in his daily business but as soon as it comes to close encounters with the other sex he is completely unable to deal with it. He is totally afraid of letting people into his life - nobody ever entered his apartment, nor can he remember what it actually feels like to touch another person. His sex-life only works for him if he puts a camera between him and the other person, satisfying himself by watching the image. Marc meets the charming nurse Justine during a reading in a bookstore. Justine is married to Eric, a successful theater director who loves her very much. But he can't adapt to Justine's sexual desires and out of that frustration he started to beat her up frequently. Justine has a death fetish - she likes to be strangled or choked during sex. In her garden she keeps rotting roadkill in a shed. They are kept in jars and terrariums and Justine watches them for hours. Death doesn't scare Justine - it relaxes her - it's her refuge. At the same time it's her inner prison with her husband. Marc and Justine are prisoners of their twisted sexual desires but at the same time they long for a normal, romantic relationship. Justine and Marc fight against their inner demons and in the end they are able to adjust. And there is a chance of a relationship between them.

The story reveals two remarkable biographies, enormous parallels and differences how to manage their way of life on stage and in reality. The cinema movie entails the uniqueness of the protagonists relationship and focuses on the peerless life's path of the artists: colourful, intense, varied, with humorous moments, and deeply engaging for the audience. With the dense interviews of close companions, family members and friends the film creates a great cinematic and musical experience combined with legendary archive, concert moods and recording footage. --- An homage to Roger Cicero and his father Eugen - two exceptional musicians who died too young, but left behind an inimitable musical legacy. Piano player Eugen Cicero was considered a wunderkind. But he had problems with the communist regime in his home country early on in his career. During a tour to East Berlin in the 1960s, he fled to West Germany, where he played with the RIAS orchestra and many of the era's jazz greats. His son Roger became one of Germany's best known singers. Father and son both had extraordinary music careers, both of which ended in similar tragedies. Their life stories were marked by genius coupled with passion, by surmounting obstacles, and by a balancing act between commercial success and artistic integrity. In this film, friends and colleagues give insights in the two's work and creativity. It is a portrait of special father-son relationship, accentuated with their sublime concert moments, musical cosmos and their bright personalities they left behind. --- Eugen Cicero played with fabled singers as Shirley Bassey, Ella Fitzgerald, Caterina Valente, or legend Oscar Peterson and many more exceptional musicians. He recorded at the MPS studios with tremendous success. His son Roger created sensational concerts in his career i.a. at Montreux Jazz Festival.
