Three years after graduating from high school, Laura, a young woman with Down syndrome, enters a new stage in her life with a fierce but perilous determination to spread her wings and leave her family's nest to launch into adulthood. Laura gets her first taste of the professional radio world and the dream job she's been bent on clinching ever since she earned her diploma. Laura also gets her first taste of love as she reconnects with her childhood friend Virgile, who also has Down syndrome. The two young people's paths will crisscross; will they eventually come together?
