Jody Stahl

To date, Jody Stahl's career has involved production, promotion and
fund raising in the film, television and music industry. His
independent film company, Trading Pictures, LLC, has the distinction of
being the first production company to produce a feature film without
any monetary funding. Stahl used his past experience with the barter
industry to finance the entire production of Till Proven Innocent(2003)
through the trading of goods and services. The story of this endeavor
is accounted in the documentary Without A Dime(2003), also produced and
written by Stahl.
Till Proven Innocent is currently being distributed around the world by Showcase Entertainment. It has not yet reached the United States.
Before forming Trading Pictures, LLC, Stahl worked in the media and production divisions of various barter firms. For BXI he produced and wrote commercials and music videos as well as a business talk show entitled Barter Update (1994). He has also done work with ITEX, Metro Studios, Galan & Associates, Reciprocal Merchandising Services, Creative Video, Executive Video, and Levittown Events.
Jody Stahl's innovative filmmaking techniques have been recognized in The New York Post, BackStage and Crain's New York Business Magazine.
