Carl Walters is the Head of Studio at Pixomondo where he oversees the day-to-day operations of the studios across North America, alongside managing client relationships, production strategy, and talent development.
An established industry leader, content producer, and people manager, he has directed multiple teams across many innovative projects.
Prior to joining PXO, he was an Executive Producer at Industrial Light & Magic where he headed up virtual production operations and business development for their London studio. Before ILM, he served as Vice President and Head of Studio for Atomic Fiction where he grew their Canadian office to over 350 employees. He spent nearly a decade in New York City before that working for The Mill as Senior Producer and Head of Production of their Mill+ division.
Carl's past film credits include The Marvels, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Ad Astra, Snowden, Superman Returns, and Sin City, among many others.
Carl is a member of the Visual Effects Society. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Stanford University.
