Like Mysterio secretly being a bad guy in Spider-Man: Far From Home and "Agnes" clearly meant as a cover for Agatha Harkness in WandaVision, every comic book fan out there knows Lewis Pullman's "Bob" in Thunderbolts* is really The Sentry.

Despite showing the character's logo in the movie's teaser trailer, Marvel Studios continues to identify Pullman's character only as Bob and the actor has flat-out refused to reveal whether he's playing The Sentry in interviews.

Now, the cat is officially out of the bad courtesy of Red Guardian actor David Harbour.

Talking at D23 Brazil last weekend, the Stranger Things star was asked about the super soldier's relationship with Bob and replied, "Yeah, I don't think he knows what to make of that. I mean, again, we'll have to see how it unfolds with all of that."

Marvel Studios didn't bring any new announcements to D23 Brazil, but Kevin Feige was still kind enough to share a couple of big surprises with fans at home, including action-packed new trailers for Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts*.

Thunderbolts stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan and David Harbour are getting in on all the action in a special look at Marvel‘s upcoming film.

On Saturday, Harbour attended the Brazil D23 fan event to present the extended trailer (below) for the film, which follows a group of supervillains recruited to go on missions for the government. “Everyone here has done bad things. Shadow ops, contract kills,” Pugh says in the trailer at one point.

The team of villains and antiheroes includes Pugh, who reprises her Black Widow role of Yelena Belova, Harbour as Red Guardian, Stan as the Winter Soldier, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. It’s time to update your awards predictions at Gold Derby, because a major TV contender has just announced its strategy for the upcoming 2025 kudos. “Agatha All Along,” Disney Plus’ spin-off of “WandaVision” starring Kathryn Hahn as a centuries-old, sassy witch, will submit in the comedy categories at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and next year’s Emmys, per our sister site Variety. The show was originally designed to be a limited series with a beginning, middle, and end.

Two years ago, Hahn received nominations for “WandaVision” at the Emmys and Critics Choice Awards in the limited series races for playing Agnes The Nosy Neighbor, aka Agatha Harkness. Exclusive: Makeready, the production company led by producer Brad Weston and Netflix alum Collin Creighton, has extended by three years its overall deal with Fifth Season. Joining the party is Topic Studios; the Makeready deal is the first in a new multiyear joint venture between Topic and Fifth Season in which they’ll back production companies with financing and development funds to create premium television content.

Kicking off on February 4th, 2025, the extensive outing consists of more than 80 arena shows across the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. Lil Yachty and Paris Texas will provide support for the duration of the tour.

Tyler, the Creator is back again with “Noid,” a new song off his upcoming album Chromakopia.

“Noid” arrives just days after Tyler, the Creator teased the new project with “St. Chroma,” a short-but-intriguing offering that we named as one of our Songs of the Week. Chromakopia serves as Tyler, the Creator’s seventh album and the follow-up to his acclaimed 2021 LP Call Me If You Get Lost.

While “St. Chroma,” with its 85 second runtime, was a bit of a feint as a lead single, “Noid” is a more meaty offering from the hip-hop auteur. Oscar nominee Luca Guadagnino is reportedly in final talks to helm a new American Psycho film adaptation of the 1991 horror novel of the same name by Bret Easton Ellis. We shared everything we know so far about this upcoming Lionsgate movie below.

So, we want to clear things up first about this adaptation. It will not be a remake of the hit 2000 satirical horror film of the same name starring Christian Bale. Instead, it's being described as a new interpretation of the book. If Guadagnino signs on as director, he'll be helming the film from a screenplay written by Scott Z. Burns.

Luca Guadagnino is becoming an Italian Psycho.

The “Queer” and “Challengers” filmmaker is in final negotiations to sign on for an “American Psycho” adaptation at Lionsgate, Deadline reports.

Guadagnino’s take is described as a new adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ 1991 novel, about a Wall Street investment banker who moonlights as a serial killer. Scott Z. Burns (“The Report”) is writing the script. The novel was previously adapted into a cult classic 2000 film starring Christian Bale and directed by Mary Harron. The film was one of Lionsgate’s earliest and helped put the studio on the map and build its reputation as a haven for films deemed too controversial for the major studios.

Variety just updated their Best Supporting Actress predictions for the 2025 Oscars and has Saoirse listed as the predicted winner in the category. The outlet also predicts she’ll get a Best Actress nomination for The Outrun.

While Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* will assemble a mixture of heroes and villains, the movie isn't exactly following the comic books. In those, Baron Zemo assembles the Masters of Evil to pose as heroes, only for his teammates to eventually decide they really do want to do some good.

As of now, there's nothing to suggest Daniel Brühl will make an appearance as Zemo after last being shown behind bars in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. 

However, given his history with Wakanda and tactical brilliance, it's easy enough to imagine the various ways Valentina Allegra de Fontaine might be in cahoots with the Captain America: Civil War villain (which would make for one heck of a twist in this movie).

Rachel Sennott didn’t get into the premier sketch comedy group during her tenure at NYU. Now she’s playing one of the architects of the world’s most famous sketch comedy show in Jason Reitman’s Saturday Night. Co-written by the latter and Gil Kenan, the biographical comedy-drama chronicles the messy 90-minute period before the first episode of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 11, 1975. Sennott portrays writer Rosie Shuster, who’s also the first wife of SNL creator Lorne Michaels (Gabriel Labelle). And much like their ambitious attempt to shake up NBC’s Saturday night programming, their marriage, as depicted in the film, is in a similarly fragile, yet oddly collaborative, state.

In contrast with a lot of her castmates, Sennott didn’t have a great deal of existing material to reference during prep, but she did have the ultimate resource one phone call away.

When Marvel Studios was looking to cast Yelena Belova for 2021's Black Widow, it quickly became clear that they wanted a star every bit as talented as Scarlett Johansson.

Florence Pugh and Saoirse Ronan were both on Kevin Feige's wishlist, with the role ultimately going to the former. Ronan is believed to have turned down the movie and was asked about that during a recent interview with Josh Horowitz.
