This film shows the life of an unpopular schoolchild in an exaggerated and comedic way. To be sure, this is not stylised or nostalgic, it is really brash and inappropriate as schoolchildren can be. At times it has shades of things that we recognise but wildly exaggerated, as it is more about the main character's emotions and not about the events themselves.
