As more crimes and criminals cross borders, the Danish police creates an international criminal investigation team. The half Icelandic "Ørnen" leads the diverse team of 6. The latest technology (2004-6) is used.

Charismatic detective Hallgrim Hallgrimsson assembles a special law enforcement unit to fight cross-border crime and terrorism. Nicknamed "The Eagle" for his unerring intuition, Hallgrim exudes competence and self-assurance; but behind the dynamic facade is a tormented personality.

Ørnen, an Icelandic inspector in the Danish police force, is named chief constable of a new task force to help solve international crime. Along with a team of talented and diverse investigators he handles explosive and complex cases with all available means.—Peter Brandt Nielsen
