The APC's are made by Tatra in The Czech Republic. Tatra uses a unique center still frame with the springs running across the body of the vehicle, rather than front to rear. You can clearly see the unusual result of that suspension at the 25 minute mark when the APC stops.
Was originally produced for a theatrical release by Universal Pictures, who decided to offload it instead. It was subsequently acquired by Netflix.
Visible on General Orland's left shoulder is the patch for the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team indicating his assignment to that unit. The 173rd is based in Vicenza, Italy so its deployment to Moldova is quite likely in the event of a real world crisis.
When the DARPA Scientist arrives at the base initially he passes by former Slovak Air Force Mig 21s and other Soviet era fighters jets marked as if they were US Air Force jets.
DARPA stands for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. They are responsible for the development of new weapons and technology for the United States Military. A good portion of their work is developing technology for use by the USSOCOM, United States Special Operations Command which oversees the US Military's special forces units. Examples being the Army's 75th Rangers, Army Special Forces, Navy SEALs and Marine Special Operations Command. DARPA was also heavily involved in the development of the internet.
