Gene Siskel - Host: I know what went wrong with "Mixed Nuts": A lot of top-flight actors were asked to do just a couple of scenes for director Ephron, and they all signed on because, "Hey, how bad could it be?" "Mixed Nuts" is how bad; VERY bad.

Roger Ebert - Host: It's bad.

Gene Siskel - Host: Wow.

Roger Ebert - Host: It's bad. Woo, is it bad.

Gene Siskel - Host: I mean, I don't...

Roger Ebert - Host: It's really, really bad.

Gene Siskel - Host: I don't understand, uh...

Roger Ebert - Host: Why would you have Madeline Kahn in a movie, and have her spend the whole movie stuck in an elevator, screaming? I mean, what did she think when she was looking at the script? "Oh great, I have seventeen screams." Uh... the movie is just, it's not worth even talking about anymore. Just forget about it. What do you think, huh?

Gene Siskel - Host: Well, just, there are a lot of names that people might get drawn on. They might, you know in the ads, it's gonna say "From the director of "Sleepless in Seattle"." So here's our warning...

Roger Ebert - Host: This movie isn't sleepless, it's not in Seattle...
