Peter Jonas Bergius (1730 in Kronoberg, Swede – 1790) was 'n Sweedse mediese dokter en botanis.[1]
In 1758 was hy gekies as 'n lid van die Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.[1] In 1768 het hy lidmaatskap van die American Philosophical Society aanvaar.[2] in 1770 was hy gekies as 'n genoot van die Royal Society. [3] en in 1775 as 'n Foreign Honorary Member van die American Academy of Arts and Sciences.[4]
