The latest video on the Japanese official Pokémon Card Channel has revealed two cards that we'll see in the upcoming Terastal Fest ex subset, releasing in Japan December 6th. The first of these is a Baby Pokémon not seen in the Pokémon TCG for a long time... Budew, a Pokémon not seen since Diamond & Pearl—Stormfront, is coming back after 16 years! We can expect to see this card released internationally in Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions, releasing on January 17th, 2025.
The Academy Founding Chapter, which began towards the end of Pokémon Masters EX's five-year anniversary celebrations earlier this year, continues today with the launch of a brand new Event, Academy Founding Chapter: Great Infernal Arrival, and the debut of Eri & Annihilape in a new Poké Fair Scout. Both the Event and Scout will continue until November 26th, at 9:59pm (PST).

The latest video posted on the official Japanese Pokémon Card Channel has revealed nine variations of a new Supporter card, Black Belt's Training, that will be released in Japan on November 22nd as part of the Generations Start Decks. Also revealed are collection of four promo cards that will be released as part of the Generations Start Deck Special Battle Set, releasing on the same day. We can expect to see these cards in English in Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions, releasing on January 17th, 2025.

Pokémon Sleep will once again be celebrating Eevee Day on November 21st with a week-long in-game event commencing Monday November 18th at 4:00am local time, and running through to Monday November 25th at 3:59am local time. Eevee Day has been celebrated since 2018 on November 21 (11/21), which is goroawase for "i-i-bu-i", Eevee's Japanese name. The day is certified by the Japan Anniversary Association.
The Pokémon Center online stores for the United States and Canada have released three new metal signs themed after Pallet Town, Lavender Town, and Mt. Moon, all locations from Kanto.
Four new friends have joined the Fluffy Cuddle plush line in Japan, with Venonat, Hisuian Zorua, Komala and Mimikyu now available for purchase from the Japanese Pokémon Center Online store, and scheduled for release in physical stores from November 9th. Each plush costs JPY ¥4,950, which is roughly USD $32 at current exchange rates as of the time of writing.
An official playlist of Pokémon songs is now available on YouTube. This playlist, curated by The Pokémon Company and YouTube Music, contains 30 tracks from various Pokémon albums, totaling a play time of over 1 hour and 40 minutes. While all of the songs had been released previously, Pokémon music fans can now enjoy all the songs in one place.
Seven European speedrunning groups are coming together over the next four days for Marathon Alliance. Germench, NSG, Sum of Besties, Speedcon, Bingothon, Nitro Speedrun and GSPS each have been allotted two six hour slots during the marathon. A run of Pokémon Red/Blue is scheduled as part of the second Germench Block. Marathon Alliance can be watched from the event's official Twitch channel.
A new merchandise line themed around snowy mountains has been released on the Japanese Pokémon Center online store, with releases in physical stores coming later this week on November 9th. The new line of goods includes sweaters, snow globes, neck warmers, keychains, bags, pouches, sleeping masks, blankets, throw pillows, silverware, plates, notebooks, mirror cases and more, all decorated with the main artwork for the merchandise line and patterns inspired by Nordic culture.
Having not even finished its first two events yet, Pokémon TCG Pocket is already launching its third in-game event today, Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1. This event will run through to November 27th, at 9:59pm (PST), and offers players the opportunity to acquire emblems to set on their in-game player profiles.
Mister Donut, a Japanese chain of stores selling donuts and pastries, has started a new limited-time collaboration with Pokémon which features thematic donuts centered around Diglett. Returning Pikachu, Poké Ball and Christmas-themed donuts that are available every year will also be featured in this collaboration.
Pokémon Masters EX's latest High Score Event, Fighting and Steel Conqueror, is launching today alongside 5★-Select Type and Double Feature Poké Fair Scouts featuring Sync Pairs useful for challenging the event. In an update letter posted to the Official Pokémon Forums, the Pokémon TCG Live Development Team have outlined changes to the game's Battle Pass and Ranked Ladder systems that will be arriving this week alongside Surging Sparks; as well a revamp to the in-game economy in a planned update coming next month on December 13th.
As part of Nintendo's presentation today of its Second Quarter Financial Results and Corporate Management Policy Briefing, Shuntaro Furukawa, the current President of Nintendo, confirmed that the Nintendo Switch successor will feature backwards compatibility with Nintendo Switch software. Nintendo Switch Online will also remain available on the new console.
