Francesca Saverio Cabrini (born 15 July 1850 in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, Austrian Empire – dead 22 December 1917 in Chicago, Illinois), anglicised as Frances Xavier Cabrini and also known as Mother Cabrini and later Saint Frances Cabrini, was an Italian-born American Catholic nun, the first American citizen to be canonized by the Roman Catholic Church. She held the American citizenship from 1909 until her death.
