English: Pioneer 1 — the first spacecraft launched by NASA, the newly formed space agency of the United States.
  • Part of the Pioneer program, it was launched on 11 October 1958.
  • It was manufactured by TRW Inc., and reentered the Earth's atmosphere after 43 hours of flight on 13 October 1958.
