English: The Temple of Aphaea or Temple of Aphaia is a Doric temple dating to circa 600 BCE or earlier and located on the Greek island of Aegina 31 miles (50 km) from Athens. The First Temple of Aphaea was dedicated to Aphaea, goddess of hunting but the roof was destroyed by fire around 510 BCE. The Second Temple of Aphaea Athena was likely dedicated jointly to Aphaea and Athena, goddess of Wisdom, around 490 BCE. This latter temple is well preserved today. It was for a time called «Jupiter Panhellenius»

Français : Le temple d'Aaphaea ou d'Aphaia est un temple dorique datant d'environ 600 av. J.-C. (ou plus tôt) et situé sur l'île grecque d'Égine, à 50 kilomètres d'Athènes. Le Premier temple d'Aphaia fut consacré à Aphaia, déesse liée à la chasse, mais le toit en fut détruit par le feu autour de 510 av. J.-C. Le Second temple d'Aphaia fut également consacré à Aphaia mais aussi conjointement à Athéna autour de 490 av. J.-C. Ce temple plus récent est bien préservé de nos jours. Il a été appelé pendant un temps "temple de Jupiter Panhellenius".
