This image contains copyrighted materials of side portions of reference book, especially the more recent versions of dictionaries. I don't think de minimis applies, does it? George Ho (talk) 23:32, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose: While George may be technically correct, I feel that the collection is the focus, not the individual books -- in which case I also feel that de minimus does apply. (However, my feelings are not based in legal education. IANAL.) I also doubt that this image is used as the focus of any article, and is likely only really used in the "English Grammar" template (and a similar template on the Arabic Wikipedia). To that end I would support a reduction in the size of the (master?) image to the size at which it is presented in the template, if indeed George's position is legally correct. --Lapsus Linguae (talk) 22:20, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose - It is a very good image which is in use by many linguistic articles.--Editor-1 (talk) 06:18, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Kept: The handful of copyrightable elements are small and justifiably de minimis. --Pi.1415926535 (talk) 21:33, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
