Nederlands: Omschrijving: Gezondheidszorg. Kankeronderzoek. Overleg op kantoor tussen geneesheer-directeur Willem Frederik Wassink en directrice S.H. Joosse van het Antoni van Leeuwenhoekziekenhuis. W.F. Wassink was de eerste oncologische chirurg in Nederland en hoofd van het AVL tussen 1921 en 1953. Het AVL vormt samen met het aanpalende Nederlands Kanker Instituut het gereommeerde oncologisch onderzoeks- en behandelcentrum Antoni Van Leeuwenhoek in Amsterdam, lange tijd ook wel NKI-AVL genoemd.
