- Mandragora autumnalis Bertol.
Sources differ as to whether Mandragora autumnalis is distinct from Mandragora officinarum. Ungricht et al. (1998) regard it as included in M. officinarum.[1] Hawkes (1972) and Jackson & Berry (1979) regard M. autumnalis as the main species found round the Mediterranean.[2][3] Tu et al. (2010) regard it as found only in the Levant.[4] Both treatments that separate out this species regard Levantine plants as M. autumnalis.
