2006 Alite was in Brazil jails waiting to be extradited back to United States to face murder charges and was told Gotti filed papers saying his life is in danger and trying to make a deal to go into Wit sec protection and was denied due to he refused to take the stand and only wanted to act as a confidential informant for FBI . Alite returned and after 5 years of Gotti informing he felt it was time to protect himself and talk.
