I'm reporting that this combination is confirmed by simplewiki CU (simple:Special:Diff/9646390, w:simple:Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser#Truthfindervert/Khalsajudicary). Activity overlaps at enwiki can be seen at Sohal (special:diff/1226735274 and special:diff/1230623268), Majithia family (special:diff/1227708275 and special:diff/1210987179), and Shergill (special:diff/1227874370 and special:diff/1221763850). Given their familiarity with switching between accounts, the rapid sleeper creation immediately after being reported, and a mess of logged-out editing, it's pretty clear this isn't the user's first go at sockpuppetry, although I wasn't able to identify an older account. This suspected sockpuppet has edited in a similar area to Truthfindervert (Indian history, castes and names), edits mainly on mobile and likes to capitalize random words (i.e. global). Also suspect WP:EWLO on the Mair caste article due to similar editing characteristics. Possibly related to banned account Downforwiki due to their likely use of generative AI - compare Backupwiki's ANI report to Downforwiki's initial unblock request. These two editors appear to be working in coordination with MasterofRepulse inappropriately draftifying articles (see Tiwana and Mirdha for just two examples) and then Standardmate creating redirects or new versions of these articles (like Mirdha (caste)) in their place in main space (see Special:DeletedContributions/Standardmate). And for some reason, they cross paths with a sockpuppet User:Bakarwal Rajat but I don't if they are connected to that account or others and just continuing a past online dispute. Historyfacts2030[2], Githubwki[3] & Backupwik[4], sock accounts were created on 20th July after the master (Truthfindervert) & (sock_Khalsajudicary) were blocked on 16th July. Prabh Singh Bains[5]was created in September 2023 & master/Truthfindervert[6] was created in November 2023 with a gap of two months and Prabhnoor singh 5cc[7] was created in December 2023 Truthfindervert in November 2023 with a gap of one month, all these suspected socks have same edit intrest "Jat" POV pushing.

Virtually identical editing patterns as his previous sock MasterofRepulse who began his editing career in his sandbox writing about Punjabi castes (now deleted). Same fixation on Punjabi Jat castes. Both accounts vote the same way in the same AFD, using the same writing style, MoR voting logged out MoR response to me clearly indicating he was behind the IP + in addition to their comments on the AFD, both the IP and MoR created drafts of deleted pages highlighting Sikh victories -IP draft (see MasterofRepulse's deleted edits to see his drafts) minutes apart from one another. Jamat e Punjab's vote is clearly a continuation of the sockpuppetry.

  Behavioural evidence needs evaluation; not seeing any solid technical connection but there is a location similarity. I could not find a master when I did the initial check, so if you think this group is connected to the other group then yes, it should probably be merged in.   • Comment – zzuuzz, I don't know about other users, but based on editing behaviour, it seems clear that the following users and IPs (or open proxies) are operated by the same person:
They are creating Punjab-related clan articles with a title of X sept of Y lineage. The title is so unique that I have never seen anyone else using it for Indian clan articles. Anyway, here are the details:
So, looking at the trend, the draft edits, the timings, and the same edit requests, all these open proxies or IPs seem to be operated by this sockmaster. The unblocked IPs should be blocked if they are also proxies and the Talk:Jats should be temporarily semi-protected to avoid further disruption.
Note that the latest sock gamed the system by making hundreds of frivolous edits (like this one) to their talk page to become an extended-confirmed user. Also, pinging admin RegentsPark who is one of the most experienced admins about this kind of Indian stuff. - NitinMlk (talk) 09:36, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
