History

The real beginning of music production goes back to 1980, when Bruno Waser produced the first Swiss punk LP (Crazy). This was followed by the production of further records for the Lucerne punks Crazy as well as for his own band mittageisen.

A view years later, in 1991, the production of a compilation CD for the punk band Crazy, followed in 1994 by the album alles ist anders ... nichts hat sich geändert (everything is different ... nothing has changed) by mittageisen.[4]

After realising the potential of the Internet as an independent distribution channel during a visit to Ars Electronica in Linz (AT) in 1995, Bruno W founded the record label mital-U and went on to produce records for various bands such as Grauzone, mittageisen, The Vyllies.[5] [6] [7] [8]

With the production of the video for Grauzone's Eisbär, mital-U has also become increasingly involved in video/film projects on alternative music and subcultural movements. [9] [10]
