Payne Security

Payne Security produces ID cards and security labels.[1] The company employs 390 people.

Payne Security was formed in 2005 from the merger of the three companies: PP Payne, Morane and Laminex.

Morane was a manufacturer of coated film for print protection, and security film for authenticating documents such as passports and national IDs, established in 1935.

Laminex is a supplier of personal ID systems, cards and visitor solutions for the education, healthcare and local government, established 1971.

PP Payne, established 1911, was a manufacturer of tear tape. Tear tape has the ability to provide a combination of easy opening, tamper evidence, product promotion, brand enhancement, and security features in one medium.
