There are also many activities for residence students to do on campus as well, with activities and events organized by the Residence Council.

Lambton College is noted for its strength in the Technology and Applied Science department due to its location in Canada's Chemical Valley. Additionally, it is the only school to house an industry fire house in Canada.

Lambton College features a high graduate employment rate of 93%. This could be attributed to the large number of co-op and apprenticeship opportunities available in many programs.
