They first single to be released off the record was the title song, ''All That We Needed''. They did a promotional tour in the United States, and also promoted internationally, gathering a growing fanbase, before heading back for the 2005 Take Action Tour.

Soon after the United States success, the single soon charted in Australia, Asia and Europe. The band released the single on [[August 27]], [[2007]] in the UK gaining chart success. They also released their first album in the UK, ''[[Every Second Counts]]'', a new re-packed edition with an extra two songs, ''"Hey There Delilah''" and ''"Take Me Away''".

They appeared on 'The Young Wild Things' tour, along with [[Fall Out Boy]], [[Cute Is What We Aim For]] and [[Gym Class Heroes]], to promote their new single.

On December 10th the Plain White T's released ''Hate'' in the UK. Higgenson stated in an interview that he thought they were bigger in the UK than in the US. They released 'Our Time Now' in the UK in early April 2008, this was followed with promotion via Television appearances.

Tom's stepsister was in a car crash with her friend and was pronounced dead at 5:37 pm on April 2, 2008. Tom has not said anything about her death but he has confirmed at the next concert he would sing a song that she wrote, "Angel's Friend."

Plain White T's

Plain White T's are a rock band, originating from Lombard, Illinois. They have had most success with their song, Hey There Delilah charting at #1 in many countries, and in many others in the Top 5. In 2008, they received a Grammy nomination for the song "Hey There Delilah".[1]

Biography

Formation (1997-2001)

  • Greek - The band provides Our Time Now as the theme for commercials and trailers for the show. They appear playing the song in the episode "The Rusty Nail". Two members of the band also appear in the episode "The Great Cappie" as members of the Kappa Tau frat house.
