He doesn't have notes, just a list of books :( But he does seem to agree with the theme of borderline cheating umpires, per the second on 1959-60 as well. In Australia it seems to be standard that subcontinental umpires were a joke in the old days, to the point of resembling crooks in movies like Lagaan etc. eg, the same thing is in Pollard's collection, Harte about services in 1945 and a whole pile of others. I dunno whether they just got it off Whitington's book where he said that the Indian umpire wouldn't give catches at second slip. That's the problem with autobios/player comments if people just copy it without checking the raw footage if available. I think Gilly said that when he got dismissed in the Bhajji hat-trick the ball pitched a long way outside leg, which I don't think was the case although the edge definitely was. Or Ponting saying that the "the same things" in Sydney 2008 reversed themselves in Perth 2008 after Sehwag said he claimed "half-volleys" when there were no disputed catches in Perth. I was expecting a closing summary rivalling War and Peace in size, instead we got a brief, succinct and very appropriate close by an administrator who was not looking to "make a statement" but simply interpreting the consensus in the light of policy. I went away after the score was 38-10. Only scored 40-odd in the next three then. Appalling....As for the Invincibles the main has to be FA. Probably some more of the main stuff should be FA, eg Hassett/Morris/Lindwall/Miller/Johnston/Barnes in 48 and maybe the 1948 Ashes series. Now that it is closer maybe more will volunteer. Only Raina and Kohli are quality fielders. The rest are way below standard, the bowlers are bad even for bowlers' fielding standards. Yuvraj has been getting more and more rotund for a few years now. Big discussions are always an opportunity for a bit of PR catwalking. I've seen lots of articles that were sourced to Tamil Tiger websites and nobody cared because there was not big debate and opportunity to get famous. It seems most of the POV exists in the sections preceding ''Course of the Operation''. It seems the problems are mainly due to the choice of wording. -Well, maybe they can be modifed to include svg maps. That was my main concern that maps are a basic requirement. If you can get your Aussie template to display quality svg location maps and include them in all the town articles and rmeove the poor quality beige dot maps I'll be a lot happier. What disappointed me about the response was that many Aussie wikipedian have now resorted to voting strong keep for other templates i nominated like the Bangladesh one, even though I spent hours yesterday making 64 district maps of Bangladesh to display in a revised template... and that the Austrian template does contain German paramters when editing and should not be there. The main misconception was that the infoboxes would be completely removed first. This isn't how it works!! We adapt the current template first!! Check out [[Jelgava]] for instance. No article would be for a minute without an infobox!! Then a bot is used to change without missing an infobox.
