Source suggestion

Hey, hope you're well. I have added a source to your draft about Bektashism in Albania. --Maleschreiber (talk) 04:47, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Botushali. Saw that your doing a Bektashism in Albania article. In depth sources are: Albert Doja, A political history of Bektashism in Albania [2] and Harry Norris, Islam in the Balkans: religion and society between Europe and the Arab world [3]. Ger Duijzings, Religion and the Politics of Identity in Kosovo [4] also has content that covers Bektashi's in Albania and about Naim Frasheri influencing them or there abouts. wp:BRD ignorance

You need to follow wp:BRD, in case you post again summaries such as this [[5]] next step will be wp:ANI.Alexikoua (talk) 01:12, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Alexikoua, you keep posting false warnings on my TP. I have warned you against doing so before on multiple occasions, and I know other editors have done the same.
Anyways, your edit summary is not an adequate reason to revert. Additions are not usually explained when first added in, they are explained when people request an explanation. You immediately decided to engage in an edit war with no real justification for your revert and no discussion on the TP (until you reverted my edit and decided you want to try and invoke BRD). State your case for why the addition should be removed.
As per WP:BRD-NOT:
BRD is never a reason for reverting. Unless the reversion is supported by policies, guidelinesor common sense, the reversion is not part of BRD cycle.
BRD is not mandatory. Neither are editors obliged to start it nor are they obliged to stick to it just because you started it
It’s all good and well to revert changes you do not think belong in an article, but you must provide proper reasoning. You cannot remove sourced additions of content as “unexplained addition”. Nobody is required to explain their edits to you prior to posting. Botushali (talk) 01:28, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Continuous use of inappropriate PEACOCK

Expressions such as "great battle", "main symbols of resistance", "hero" etc. [[6]] fall into MOS:PEACOCK. You need to be carefull because many inexperienced editors ended up blocked for edit warring when restoring this kind of unencoclpedic material.Alexikoua (talk) 03:13, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh Alex - if you look at the revised lead that I personally wrote, you will see those words are gone. I wonder if there is a policy that will allow me to report you for the misuse of warnings… Botushali (talk) 04:38, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notis

Hi @Botushali, mentioning it here, since I didnt include it in my edit summmary. Notis participated in the Greek revolution, that's why the addition I made was relevant in his page. Also, the Souliots, who were an Albanian community, came, throught their participation in the war, to identify with greek nation. Mentioning just the first part and not the second is WP:Undue and doesn't give a clear image of they were/are. Cheers Piccco (talk) 13:27, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As I have stated on that TP and in my edit summary: The article describes the situation in 1756. What does this have to do with Souliotes in the 19th century 30 years after they left Souli? Botushali (talk) 13:29, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Its a matter of WP:Undue I think. Notis was a participant of the Greek revolution and his name is attested in greek. His family also integrated to the Greek nation. A wording that doesn't downplay their connection to Greece might be necessary. Piccco (talk) 13:37, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
His descendants assimilated, sure, but it’s not that relevant to the article. It simply just doesn’t fit into the context of what is being discussed. Botushali (talk) 13:46, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Talk:Battle of Byshek (1467)

Hello Botushali. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Talk:Battle of Byshek (1467), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Speedy deletion tag placed on article talkpage instead of article itself. I'll fix this with my next edit. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 08:58, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute resolution

I don't know if you find it more motivating to file a report when it could result into a ban, but filing the edit warring report and argue at the noticeboard was seemingly done without breaking any sweat. I suppose you would have no issue filing a dispute resolution for the Andrea II Muzaka article. Cheers. --Azor (talk). 06:24, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That’s on you to seek consensus for your proposed changes. Botushali (talk) 09:01, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Considering no version is a result of consensus, none of them are stable. You can seek support at the dispute resolution to build consensus for the version you're in favor of. I guess that good news for someone who enjoys filing reports? --Azor (talk). 10:49, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The version I have been RV’ing too has been standing for months since I overhauled the article and added a lot more sources to it. Since you’re the one who wants changes, and me and you don’t agree on the changes (nor do other editors agree with your changes), you can help yourself to the DSN. I don’t “enjoy” filing reports, I just don’t enjoy dealing with obstructive editors who ignore sources and falsify their own. Botushali (talk) 11:05, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is still absolutely zero consensus for the current version. Per WP:STABLE, a version that has stayed longer is not a reason to revert new versions. If you care about finally achieving consensus instead of just reverting every contribution to the article, you would file that report - which the admin encouraged you to do. --Azor (talk). 11:31, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Admin didn’t tell me specifically to do so. You can sit here and keep commenting on my TP to try and push me into filing a report, or you can do so because you are the one who is trying to make changes. Botushali (talk) 11:45, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The admin did write to the one who filed the report. You came with an issue, you got a solution. You're proving that you would rather spend time filing user-reports against "opponents" of your opinion, rather than actually secure a consensus. Have a nice day, Botushali. --Azor (talk). 13:37, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
