Hello Aberdeen01,

Yes, I know personally, we work in the same industry and I have known him for almost 5 years.

Let me know if am generally editing too much, I can cut down, just added more (factual) detail to the page. I do not want to have anything happen to the page about him on account of my inputting data. The page is all correct, afaik.

Firstly, let me assure you am not a sockpuppet, I do not know any of the other commentators on the John D Bernard page. However, full disclosure, I did work with John Bernard in the past so apologies if have broken any rulings am unaware of, was not intentional. John did a lot to raise the profile of open-source and volunteer/Community efforts outside of his job so my 2 cents is that there are a lot of Community members from Mozilla and Ubuntu who may have contributed. A lot of what he did to set up hackathons and Community building you won't find online on links. Sorry for the long note but want to fully participate in this error on my part. If someone messed with my GitHub I'd write back. Finishing off my volunteer work with DuckDuckGo and Brave now, so will look to contribute more fully and wholesomely to Wikipedia soon.
