- I'm not convinced that this non-free image of an iPhone is at all necessary. Anybody could take a photo of their own one, switched on if we want to show the interface (though the interface is already well-covered in the article anyway) and upload it... Oh, look, they have. Keep for now: The original reasoning given by Luke Farrelly-Spain is weak, true, and I would advocate deleting the image by that logic. However, the iPhone 4 is not in customers' hands until the 24th. So, no free alternative can be produced until then. I advocate removing the image shortly after the release date. Yonisyuumei (talk) 15:05, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]Please note: After lengthy discussions it has been agreed upon that an iPod Touch cannot be adequately represented without showing the home screen, and that the hardware shown is so minimal as to be unidentifiable without the software. The use of this image, freely (as in beer) available from Apple and dozens of news sites, is a complicated decision made by many editors, who ask that this image be retained, or at least thoroughly and openly discussed. Thank you.

- this is just File:New York City at night HDR.jpg with a logo inserted - but the logo has a copyright sign on it, the image is orphaned and has no reasonable educational value - the licensing is also false, because it adds a GNU license that is not included in the source license, as well as other cc licenses, and the image is claimed to be own - the image looks like a test Hekerui (talk) 16:58, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
