Ancient Arabia refers to the ancient region which today consists of the modern-day states of the Arabian Peninsula, as well as the modern-day countries of Jordan, Israel, Syria, Lebanon and southern & western Iraq.

The Ancient Arabians

The Ancient Arabians are the early peoples that migrated from Arabia but were not part of Qahtan or Adnan later ethnic Arab groups.

The ancient Arabians can be divided into three main groups:

Ancient Arabian tribes that became Arabs

  • Qahtan settles South Arabia later to and to branch into Adnan and replinish the Arabians of the North. They were able survive due to their protected isolation in Yemen for two millenias, Adnan will branch from Qahtan (through Jurhum tribe adoption of Ismail) and they were able to revive the Arabian culture in the near east through the great Qahtani migrations 3rd century AD.

Ancient Arabian tribes that were completely perished

  • Tasam headed North and were assimilated into the Non Arabian populations of Gomer.
  • Jadis headed East and were assimilated to the Non Arabian populations of Lydia
  • Thamud Perished with unknown traces.
  • A'ad Non Qahtani Arabians of South Arabia, they spoke a language closely related to Akkadian (Eastern South Semitic). They were the first Ancient Arabians to be assimilated by the Qahtani Arabs.[1]
  • Akkadians Ancient Arabians that entered Mesopotamia 2300BC[2][3][4]
  • Amuru (Amorites) Arabians west of the Eupharites. They will be absorbed by the Arameans and later the Qahtani Arabs. They spoke an Amorite Proto-Arabic dialect.[5]
  • Amalik (Emlaq, Imlaq, Amaliq) Arabians who will settle Southern Syria/Sinai some will be assimilated by the Arameans and later absorbed by the Qahtani Arabs.
  • Ahhlamu Ancient Arabians closely related to the (Amuru)
  • Shasu Ancient Arabians who frequently raided Eastern Egypt, very closely related to the Edomites.
  • Chaldeans (Neo-Babylonians) Arabians[6] and Arameans who settled southern Mesopotamia. some assimilated by the Persians others absorbed by the Qahtani Arabs. Some identify today as Non Arab Christian Chaldeans.
  • Thamud Arabs of Northern Hijaz they were assimilated into the Adnani and Qahtani Arabs.
  • Edomites branch of the Amalik in Canaan mixed with Hebrews, later will assimilate to the Qahtani Arabs.
  • Hyksos Ancient Arabian tribe that invaded Egypt, very closely related to the Edomites[7]
  • Midianites a branch of the Amalik who lived among the Edomites.[8]
  • Moabite a branch of the Amalik East of the Dead sea they will assimilate to the Arameans and later the Qahtani Arabs
  • Ammonite Arabian Amailks who mixed with Hebrews.
  • Nabateans The Last group of Non Qahtani Arabs (uncertian origin some historians link them to the Qidar Ishmaelite Arabs of possible Qahtani lineage) to appear in North Arabia,, they were allied to the Romans and were replaced by the Qahtanis Arabs from the 3rd century Ad.
  • Osroene An Armenian monarch Tigranes settled an Arabian tribe in the kingdom of Osroene in northern mesopotamia (modern day Syria) and handed over the kingdom to them. The Arabians of Osroene were later defeated by Lucius Afranius. Abargus king of Osroene in the first century BC has been identified as an Arab region. Pliny refers to this region as Ancient Arabia.

==Ancient people that were distantly related to the ancient Arabians==[original research?]

  • Canaan Ancient Egyptians who will be assimilated by the Amaliq, Hyksos, (Amuru), Hebrews, Arameans, Greeks and later absorbed by the Qahtani Arabs.
  • Assyrians Hurrians assimilated by the Akkadians,[citation needed] some were assimilated by the Persians[citation needed] and some later were absorbed by the Qahtani Arabs.[citation needed] Some identify today as Non Arab Christian Assyrians.[citation needed]
  • Arameans Hittites, Amuru and various groups who mixed with people of the highlands in the Levant. their language will become the dominant language in the Assyrian and Achamenid Empire period and the origin of The North Arabic/Quranic language. They will collapse with the Greco/Roman invasions and later be absorbed by the Qahtani Arabs. Some identify today as non Arab Christian Arameans[citation needed]
  • Phoenicians Canaanite sea ferriers who were assimilated by the Amuru. They settled the big sea spreading their variant of the ancient Arabic language. They were assimilated by various people.
  • Philistines Canaanites who were assimilated by the Amaliq Arabians they will mix with Mycnean Greeks and later absorbed by the Qahtani Arabs.
  • Hebrews a branch of the Chaldeans they migrated and conquered the central part of Canaan. Survived by the Baylonian captives of Judea who will identify as the modern Sefradi/Mizrahi Jews a small minority identify itself as Arab Jews. (not to be confused with the Qahtani Arab converts -Temoni/Yemenite Jews- or other non Hebrew European/Turkic converts -Ashkenazi Jews) .
  • Isrealites Northern Hebrews of Israel. They were scattered by the Assyrians.[9] Some groups identify as Non Arab Israelites (not related to modern Israeli)
  • Judeans Southern Hebrews of Judea. They were destroyed by the (Neo Babylonians). They were allowedto return by the Persians. They rebuilt their temple in Judea, they were exiled again by the Romans and spread all over the world. This group identify as the modern Sefradi/Mizrahi Jews a small minority identify itself as Arab Jews. (not to be confused with the Qahtani Arab converts -Temoni/Yemenite Jews- or other non Hebrew European/Turkic converts -Ashkenazi Jews)
  • Carthaginians/(Punics) of North Africa, Iberia, Sicily, Corsica and Sardinia. Even after the fall of Phoenicia they continued to speak a Semitic language and worshipped the ancient Arab Gods until they were annihilated by the Romans. The Qahtani Arabs will recover the lands once ruled by the Punics. The Punic remainning traces will be absorbed into the Qahtani Arabs. These traces of Punics will disappear along with Iberian and Siculo Arabs and completley assimilate/scatter into the Spaniards, Latin Americans and Southern Italians.
