Ashish Airon (born 3 December 1992) is an entrepreneur, founder of CogniTensor, a Artificial Intelligence based software development company, based out of New Delhi, India.[1]
Early life
[edit]Airon was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. He attended Oxford University, United Kingdom and completed a degree in computer science in 2015 . After graduation, Airon worked at a Research Institute in Germany for less than a year. In 2016, Airon quit his research work to start his own company.[2]
Career
[edit]In 2017, Airon started an Artificial Intelligence based company, CogniTensor, with an initial capital of ₹5,00,000 (5 Lakh Rupees or US$7,600).
In 2022, the company raised his first seed round from Shell plc India.[3][4] With a subsequent seed round in 2023 from IIMA's CIIE.CO in collaboration with Accenture India. Further raising capital in 2024 from Techstars [5][6]
Airon has been speaker at Ross school of business,[7] Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, [8] and The German Indian Startup Exchange Program (GINSEP).[9]
