Only Singaporean?

[edit]
Khao na pet in Thailand

There is also Arroz de pato - Portuguese duck rice - (http://cookinglisbon.com/recipes/meat/portuguese-duck-rice-recipe/), and Thai khao na pet (http://www.wheretoeat-bangkok.com/Assets/Articles/fast_food_thai.pdf). The Thai dish is pretty similar to the one described here in the article. It would seem that the claim that "duck rice" is Singaporean is false. Both the Thai and the Singaporean version use what is normally viewed as Cantonese roast duck (Siu aap - 燒鴨), served with rice; a common dish for Cantonese people worldwide.- Takeaway (talk) 07:47, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
