Hi, my name is Povilas and I am from Vilnius, the capital of a currently tiny, but historically famous Baltic state called Lithuania, the Homeland to just 3 million people. The country is possessed with the game of basketball and I am no exception in that as well! Consequently, my edits in Wikipedia mostly focuses on this sport branch and other Lithuania-related topics. The Lithuanian language is native to only 3 million of people worldwide (and is regarded as one of the toughest languages to learn for the foreigners due its complexity), thus my main goal is to make the Lithuania-related topics accessible in the foreign languages (mostly English) as much as I am able to. I was recognized as one of the finest English Wikipedia's writers about Lithuania.
Vilnius (contributed to the "History" section; rewritten the entire "Culture" section and all the new subsections: "Painting and sculpture", "Museums and galleries", "Literature", "Cinema", "Music", "Theatre", "Photography", "Crafts", "Language", "Fashion", "Holidays and festivals" were either wholly or mostly written by myself; added "City government", "District municipality", "National government", "Special services" subsections to the "Administration" section; created "Cityscape" section and all its subsections ("Urbanism and architecture", "Crypts", "Housing") were entirely or mostly written by myself; completely remade the "Demographics" section, including the "Historic ethnic makeup" subsection; almost entirely remade the "Economy" section and added subsections "Science and research", "Information technology", "Finance and banking" to it; added the "Primary and secondary education", "Libraries" subsections to the "Education" section; added a new subsection "Pilgrimage" to the "Religion" section; added a new section "Tourism", including the "Hotels" subsection; added sections "Healthcare" and "Media")
