Re: John Barrasso picture

[edit]

The image is from http://legisweb.state.wy.us/2006/members/S27.htm, where he served as state senator. The U.S. Senate is borrowing the image until they can make their own, it would seem. It is most likely not PD, considering the stern copyright warnings on state of Wyoming websites. --Tom (talk - email) 11:17, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use image use

[edit]

Please do not add fair use images in a decorative manner as you did with Image:Democratslogo.svg here and here. This constitutes a decorative use and is not permitted per terms of Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria item #8. If you have questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Alleged Vandalism

[edit]

Thanks for your message. I've looked at the article, and the removal of the link by User:LiveLife isn't vandalism. S/he removed it because it was already linked in the references section. This is supported by the guidance given at WP:EL#References_and_citation which constitutes part of the Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style.

Regardless, this is a content dispute and the usual way we resolve these matters is by discussion. I suggest in future that you talk with this editor about any such disagreements, or open a discussion on the article talk page. Best wishes. --Cactus.man 17:05, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Mosleh Zamani

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Mosleh Zamani, by Agamemnon2 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Mosleh Zamani seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Mosleh Zamani, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:03, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Political positions of Christopher Dodd

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Political positions of Christopher Dodd, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 20:42, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:CaseyRP.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Please use edit summaries

[edit]

Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be extremely low:

Edit summary usage for Darth Kalwejt: 14% for major edits and 11% for minor edits. Based on the last 150 major and 96 minor edits in the article namespace.

Using edit summaries helps other editors quickly understand your edits, which is especially useful when you make changes to articles that are on others' watchlists. Thanks and happy editing! --Kralizec! (talk) 17:25, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Reza Alinejad

[edit]

Reza Alinejad, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Reza Alinejad satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Reza Alinejad and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Reza Alinejad during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Futurama presidential losers.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Futurama presidential losers.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:34, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of speedy deletion tag

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Dan Quayle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Category:Dan Quayle is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on [[Talk:Category:Dan Quayle]] saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Not sure whether you knew about the previous discussion, which was at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_August_27#Category:Dan_Quayle, so here's the link. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:RussellMCunningham.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RussellMCunningham.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:48, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John Hazel

[edit]

Hi,

came across the judge John R. Hazel article and wanted to let you know it's a bit garbled at the moment in the middle section. I think I can see what you were trying to say in the middle section (ie Roosevelt had gone climbing rather than sitting around in Buffalo), but I didn't want to just go in and maybe screw it up completely. Thanks! 03:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

These are unencyclopedic and are not helpful. Instead of creating new articles like these expand the election sections in the main articles.--STX 19:58, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. I have witnessed some of your recent edits to the pages George H.W. Bush and Dick Cheney. First off, please make adequate use edit summaries to tell other editors what your revision(s) accomplished. Secondly, the "acting president" clause was determined by myself and another editor to not be particularly notable (or favorable) to be placed in the infobox on those two articles. I removed it in Dick Cheney, then added it back because it really didn't hurt, and another editor removed it on both pages. The more I thought about it, the most the other editor was correct in removing it. It was for a mere day, and although it does deserve mention in the correct section and succession box at the bottom, the lead is too prominent to display such a short and minor event. Thanks, Happyme22 (talk) 23:56, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I ran across this article when reviewing Special:Newpages. I haven't marked the page as "patrolled" as I am somewhat uncertain how notable this individual is specifically; however, I suspect the incident in which he died would have far less difficulty meeting the notability threshhold. This is just a suggestion on my part, but perhaps an article on the crash itself, including much of the information you have already compiled here (and with the General's name as a redirect) might be of greater value at this point. Do you have any thoughts on this? Risker (talk) 04:16, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Flags

[edit]

Thank you for your many fine contributions. I noticed you had added flags to several infoboxes of people. You may not be aware, but WP:MOSFLAG deprecates this use as it is redundant (adds no information) and may draw unneeded emphasis to the nationality of the subject. Best wishes to you, --John (talk) 02:40, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding infoboxes to politicians' articles. As a second remind please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (flags) before adding any more flagicons into biographical infoboxes. Fair use rationale for Image:Carter cover time.jpg

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Electoral histories

[edit]

Hello Darth Kalwejt, and thank you for your many contributions to Wikipedia. There are a few issues I would like to address, however, regarding some content you have added to many articles: electoral histories. I am largely opposed to them, because they do not offer much to the articles and draw each article out substantially, depending on how many elections he/she has been involved in. Furthermore, the proper citation usage is not enacted in any of them (see Wikipedia:Citation templates); it is very strenuous to go through every lone url link and convert it to the proper format. And they are all lists with absolutely no engaging prose.

While I am not opposed to the idea of presenting the percentage of votes for each of the candidates, it should be done in the text of the corresponding section in an article (thus eliminating the list), and does not need to include every single election the candidate was involved in; I was expecting to see "High School ASB" on the list! They should only include the major elections or a notable election, and every revision should include a citation in proper format.

Don't get me wrong - I am not chastising you. I value your many Wiki contributions and thank you for them. But I think these long lists of every election the candidate has participated in is utterly unnecessary. Thanks, Happyme22 (talk) 06:49, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, have you not read my above post? You just inserted the full electoral history to the George H. W. Bush article in a collapsable format (better), but without full citations in proper cite format, and the result of your revison has extended the article size about 8 KB. That's a huge number. Please respond to me so tht we can discuss how to proceed further with electoral histories. Thanks. Happyme22 (talk) 01:59, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding. I'm sorry if I came across harshly; I surely did not intend to. Yes, I think seperate electoral history articles are the way to go, such as the one you provided. I can start moving some of them to seperate articles, and would you like to do the same? Then we have to choose what format to use because consistency is good. There's the one in Electoral history of Eliot Spitzer in table format with colors, and there's the one in George H. W. Bush#Electoral history. I think the chart form would be best if we are to move them into seperate articles; what do you think? Happyme22 (talk) 22:05, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I created the Electoral history of George H. W. Bush page from all the information you had placed on the president's article (although I think that a table format like the one on Electoral history of Eliot Spitzer might be better). User:SnowFire said on my talk page that creating sub articles for presidents would be a good idea, but that we should hold off on Congressmen. Feel free to join in. Reagan electoral history

[edit]

I'm just wondering, if you have some free time and happen to be bored, an electoral history of President Ronald Reagan is needed. I think you made one once, but I've looked through the article history and haven't found it. Anyway, if you do get around to making one, if you could please present it on my talk page that would be great. Thanks a lot, Happyme22 (talk) 05:42, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PS - I think you might enjoy this. I was at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California, USA in July 2007 and I saw the President of Poland, Lech Kaczyński, present the Order of the White Eagle to first lady Nancy Reagan. I came about an arm's length away from shaking his hand in the crowd; it was a great day. I'm not sure how you feel about Pres. Kaczyński, but I thought that I might share that with you :) --Hap

Excellent! I'm glad to hear that we are making progress. Indeed, President Kaczyński's idea to present the award to Reagan was a tabular one. Again, I'm sorry if I came across harshly when I first contacted you as I certainly didn't intend to; I value your many Wikipedia contributions and Electoral history "crusade" :) --Happyme22 (talk) 18:35, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wonderful! The only thing I would try to remember is consistency, so if you want tables, do tables for everything; if you want lists, do lists for everything, etc. Great job! Happyme22 (talk) 20:42, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Michale DiSalle.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Michale DiSalle.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Democratic Party (United States) presidential primaries, 1960

In this article there seems to be a contradiction about Florida. It is listed not in the first list of thirteen states with primaries, but it is listed in the fourteen states by winner. Which list is accurate?

Infoboxes

[edit]

The material you're adding to infoboxes of political figures regarding presidential campaign nominees is confusing to readers and not in the usual style of the encyclopedia. "Succession" boxes don't work for nominees - for example, it is not clear to say that Bob Dole was succeeded by George HW Bush as VP nominee - we use "preceded by" and "succeeded by" to indicate actual offices held by individuals. Being a nominee is not a job or a position. Perhaps you should ask the editors of individual pages discuss this with other editors for their opinions before adding this across the board. I've raised it on some talkpages already. Tvoz/talk 23:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Further thoughts: this is also inherently unbalanced because, for example, George W. Bush does not mention being the nominee in 2000 and 2004, so his opponents are not listed, yet on John Kerry and Al Gore we're told that Bush was the opponent. The whole thing is confusing and not in the encyclopedia's style - we use infoboxes only to list actual positions held, and even then, the most recent ones, in reverse chronological order, and sometimes eliminating early less important positions for style and readability. Your additions to infoboxes are likely well-intentioned, but I think they are problematic and should be reverted. Tvoz/talk 22:20, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Darth - thanks for the reply. I am not talking about succession boxes - the ones that are placed on the bottom of pages - I am talking about the infoboxes that are on the top right of the pages. I myself don't like succession boxes, but they can be hidden with the hide/show button, so people who like them can see them and people who don't can leave them compressed and essentially hidden. That's fine - not a problem. But the infoboxes - the ones that cannot be compressed or hidden, but give basic information about the subject - have always shown only actual positions held, in reverse chronological order with the most recent on top. The "Nominee" fields just don't work properly - they are out of chronological order and are inherently confusing. And note what I said about the imbalance between George Bush and JOhn Kerry, for example - why does Kerry's infobox tell us that Bush was his opponent, but Bush's infobox says nothing about Gore or Kerry? The point is that being a nominee is not a "position held", and it is "positions held" that are in the up-top infoboxes. I am not proposing changing the succession bars across the bottom of pages, but I do plan to remove the "Nominee" fields from the infoboxes on the top of pages.. Proposed deletion of Robert V. Somers

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Robert V. Somers, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Electoral results by candidate, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Electoral results by candidate has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Electoral results by candidate, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Edit summaries please!

[edit]

You've been asked several times over a span of nearly two years to please provide edit summaries. Someone even produced statistics. But your last 15 edits have no edit summaries at all.

When you make an edit such as this without an edit summary, it looks very much like vandalism and requires additional effort by all those who watch the article to verify yours was a helpful edit. In this case, most editors would have provided a summary similar to split electoral history to separate article. This tells everyone in an instant that you didn't thoughtlessly remove content, and sets an expectation of the complexity of the diff. Thanks. —EncMstr (talk) 23:57, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of current Vice Presidents. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of current Vice Presidents. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Fob james.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Fob james.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 19:23, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Fob james.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Fob james.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 19:23, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 03:20, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I see that you created this template back in 2008: I was wondering if you could explain something about it to me. Why was there a list of Democratic vice-presidential candidates, when there was no formal list of them or public contest for the vice presidential nomination? I have removed all of them other than Al Gore, as I don't see the reason behind that list. If it's just a list of people who were reported as being possible vice-presidential nominations, I don't think it belongs on the template. I notice that some other similar presidential election templates do the same thing, but I thought I'd ask about this one before making changes to the rest.

(If you're wondering: I noticed this by seeing the template on the article Bob Graham, and wondering 'what is that doing there?'.) Robofish (talk) 00:21, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Governor Mark O. Hatfield (R-OR).jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Governor Mark O. Hatfield (R-OR).jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hekerui (talk) 21:59, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am considering effectively splitting-by-subcategorizing Category:People executed under the Stuarts by England/Scotland/Ireland, because at it stands, the categorization effectively suggests that someone executed under the Stuarts was executed by England and Scotland and Ireland, which is not quite true. I wonder if you would have any objections to it. (Effectively, there would be Category:People executed by Stuart England, Category:People executed by Stuart Scotland, and Category:People executed by Stuart Ireland — with the latter not happening if there aren't enough people executed under the Stuarts in their roles as monarchs of Ireland.) --Nlu (talk) 21:27, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
