Felicia Day (oik. Kathryn Felicia Day, s. 28. kesäkuuta 1979 Huntsville, Alabama) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä ja tuottaja.[1] Hänet tunnetaan muun muassa vierailevista rooleistaan televisiosarjoissa Buffy, vampyyrintappaja, Eureka ja Supernatural, elokuvista Anna palaa 2 ja June sekä internetmusikaalista Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Hän on websarja The Guildin pääosanäyttelijä, käsikirjoittaja ja tuottaja.[2] Vuonna 2011 Day ohjasi ja näytteli websarjassa Dragon Age: Redemption.[3][4]

Day oli International Academy of Web Television -järjestön hallituksessa vuosina 2009–2012.

Nuoruus

Day syntyi Alabamassa vuonna 1979.[1] Hän kävi kotikoulua, kunnes pääsi collegeen 16-vuotiaana.[5] Day pääsi Texasin yliopistoon saatuaan apurahaa viulistin taidoillaan.[6] Opintojen jälkeen hän muutti Los Angelesiin.

Ura

Day aloitti näyttelijänuran ollessaan kahdeksanvuotias osallistumalla Kuin surmaisi satakielen -näytelmään. Koulujen jälkeen Los Angelesissa hän pääsi indie- ja lyhytelokuviin sekä mainoksiin.

Vuonna 2004 Day sai ensimmäisen suuren roolinsa Penelope Hopen hahmona teinikomediasta Anna palaa 2. Paremmin televisioruutuihin hän pääsi saatuaan roolin Buffy, vampyyrintappaja -sarjasta.[7]

Vuosina 2007–2013 Day käsikirjoitti, tuotti ja näytteli websarjassa The Guild.[2] Maaliskuussa 2012 Day perusti YouTube-kanavan Geek & Sundry, joka jatkoi The Guildin kuudetta kautta.[8] Vuonna 2014 Legendary Entertainment liitti Geek & Sundry -kanavan oman brändinsä alle, mutta Day säilytti vastuun sisällöntuotosta.[9]
