Le Liga Arabe (الجامعة العربية), con le nomine official de Liga de Statos Arabe (جامعة الدول العربية), es un organisation regional de statos arabe in Asia del Sudwest, e Africa del Nord e Africa del Nordest. Ille esseva formate in Cairo le 22 de martio, 1945, con sex membros: le Arabia Saudita, Egypto, Iraq, Transjordania (renominate Jordania depois 1946), Libano e Syria. Yemen se affiliava al Liga le 5 de maio, 1945. Le Liga Arabe hodie ha 22 membros depost le readmission de Libya in 2011.[1] Le independentia del Sudan del Sud, equalmente in 2011, ha reducte le extension del Liga sin reducer le numero del membros.

[modificar | modificar fonte]Le Liga Arabe ha essite fundato in Cairo in 1945 per Egypto, Iraq, Libano, Arabia Saudita, Syria, Transjordania (Jordania depois 1946), e Yemen. 15 statos arabe additional e 3 observatores ha essite admittite.
In septembre 2006, Venezuela esseva acceptate como un observator, e India in 2007.
Israel non es un stato membro nonbstante que 20% de su population es de origine arabe e que le arabe es un de su linguas official.
