Bergamia
Appearance
Bergamia est species hybrida arborum fructiferarum quae ad genus citrorum pertinet, in Europa meridiana culta, anno 1708 primum descripta. Anno 1819 sub forma speciei Citrus bergamia Risso & Poit., recentius sicut hybrida substantiva Citrus × bergamia ordinata, potius sicut grex sub nomine Citrus × aurantium comprehendenda est: hybrida est enim Citrus × aurantium aut cum C. medica aut cum C. × limon.[1] Fructus comestibiles, in condituras coquendae, potius propter oleum essentiale aromaticum utiles sunt.
