Empathia
Empathía (Graece ἐμπάθεια 'amor corporeus, passio' < ἐν 'in, ad' + πάθος 'passio, dolor') est facultas intellegendi vel sentiendi quod alienus homo intra animum experitur; hoc est facultas sui in alieno loco ponendi.[1] Definitiones empathiae variissimos animi motuum statús amplectuntur. Inter genera empathiae a psychologis propositis sunt empathia cognitiva, empathia animi motuum, et empathia somatica.[2]
Vocabulum empathia ab Hermanno Lotze et Roberto Vischer in Einfühlung ('sensus in') vocabulum Theodiscum accommodatum est, quod vicissim ab Eduardo B. Titchener in empathy vocabulum Anglicum anno 1909 conversum est.[3][4][5] Unde vocabulum Latinum derivatur. Graece autem εμπάθεια hodie 'praeiudicata opinio', 'malevolentia', 'malevolentia (ius)', et 'odium' significare potest.[6]
