Henricus Ford (natus die 30 Iulii anno 1863 in Greenfield Township Michiganiae in Civitatibus Foederatis Americae, mortuus die 7 Aprilis anno 1947 in Dearborn Michiganiae) condidit societatem Henry Ford Company, vulgo "Ford" dictam, quae prima autocineta maximo numero modicoque pretio venalia produxit. Fabricationem concatenatam in autocinetis conficiendis non quidem invenit, sed ad perfectionem duxit.[1] Ford hac nova autocinetorum conficiendorum via fabricationem industrialem convertit et tantam pecuniam sibi fecit, ut tum inter ditissimos orbis terrarum homines numerabatur.

Cum enixe rationes quaereret, quibus impensae diminui possent, multas innovationes sive in fabricando sive in vendendo introduxit, inter quas systema franchising dictum, quo emporia in urbibus maioribus multarum terrarum nata sunt. Ford maximam divitiarum partem societati Ford Foundation reliquit, familiae suae autem perpetuam societatis directionem confirmavit.
