Lien,[1][2] vel splen[3][4][2] (a Graeco σπλήν) est viscus corporis humani et paene omnium animalium vertebratorum, quod ad circulationem sanguinis pertinet et, quoniam pars systematis lymphacei est, defensioni corporis multum confert. Lien ab aliena materia et bacteriis sanguinem colat; praeterea sanguinem a vitiatis et veteribus erythrocytis purgat.
