August 2024 Meeting Outcomes
[edit]The Board met in Katowice, Poland on August 5 and held its quarterly business meeting before Wikimania. The Board took the following corporate actions:
- Review, Ratification, and Approval of Consent Agenda, August 2024:
- Dissolving the Talent & Culture Committee. The responsibilities of the Talent and Culture Committee will be distributed between the Audit Committee and the Executive Committee.
- The charters of the Audit Committee and the Executive Committees will be updated to reflect the changes.
- Minutes Approval, June 2024. The committee reports can be found here.
- Renewing Nataliia Tymkiv’s Appointment as Chair, 2024. Nataliia will leave the Board in 2025 and her appointment as Chair will end, due to term limits on Trustees.
The Board voted asynchronously to update the charters of the Audit Committee and the Executive Committee to redistribute the responsibilities of the Talent and Culture Committee. The updated charters can be found here and here.
