Atlas Ortelius
National Library donates 1571 atlas of the world
Abraham Ortelius is one of the most important cartographers and geographers in the history of the world. His Theatrum Orbis Terrarum (Theatre of the World) is considered by many to be the first modern atlas.
The Koninklijke Bibliotheek, the National Library of the Netherlands, acquired an edition of his atlas last year. This edition is in very good condition, with excellent hand-colouring of all the cards. And now it's on Commons, in all it's high resolution glory. 200 pages, including maps of England before the United Kingdom, Liege and the new world.

Literary Museum
The Literary Museum in The Hague has approached WMNL for cooperation. Their interest for cooperation focusses on data and content donations and editathons.
Cultural Heritage Agency
The Cultural Heritage Agency of The Netherlands is preparing an upload of 90.000 images to Commons.
Wikipedians in Residence meeting
The Dutch Wikipedians in Residence had a meeting on the 29th of September. The notes (Dutch) are public.
