In the residential suburb of Askim outside Gothenburg is Meros camping, where people with addictions and mental health problems live. For those who live there, there is no alternative but the street. For many, the campsite is a hell where violence and drugs are part of everyday life, but at Meros there is also warmth and safety and access to food. For the surrounding residents, the campsite has created problems, many have suffered from thefts and break-ins.
